Car Insurance?

Getting car  insurance ?

For ten years but haven't had a car in my name. Also have never had my very own auto insurane. Our driving record is spot im more than 30 and clean no passes violations nothing. Would i still must pay-as much as a 21 yr old brand new driver for motor  insurance    ?? Am i checked out exactly like them??
